A Closet in Grafton Has Mold

This clothes closet in a customer's home in Grafton had that musty smell indicating the presence of mold. This closet was small, lacked any HVAC ventilation and did not have a slatted door to encourage air flow. Our mold remediation technician removed the baseboards to inspect and observe the depth of the fungi growth. It was sufficient to remove a 1-foot height of the wall to ensure that we could apply anti-fungal agents to exterminate the mold. The hardwood flooring was now safe from contamination; several days later we returned and closed up the wall after verifying the results of our work. We also removed and stuffed in new batten insulation as an added precaution. Do it once and do it right.
