#HeartWorcester Worcester Stands United
3/31/2020 (Permalink)
As one of Worcester’s most iconic symbols, the heart has held a special meaning for the city of Worcester since its incorporation as city in 1848. Worcester is often referred to as “the Heart of the Commonwealth” and has a bright red heart right in the middle of the city’s seal.
Now the heart is taking on even more meaning for our friends and neighbors in the Worcester community. Residents are showing their hometown pride by decorating their homes & businesses with hearts as part of the #HeartWorcester social media campaign started by the Worcester Public Library.
Our city is taking this opportunity to prove we’re in this together. We encourage you to put a heart in your window to show solidarity and that we are #alonetogether. Send it to WPL through email or post on social using the hashtag #heartworcester.
We at SERVPRO of Worcester have proudly displayed our hearts, now we’d love to see yours.
